What is addiction therapy?

Every individual that we see is assessed and treated on an individual basis, with the most appropriate therapy for their needs. Therapy types include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Solution Focussed therapy etc.

How much treatment will I get?

Again, treatment is tailored to the individual. It starts with an assessment and joint discussion of your needs and how they can best be met by us.

How frequently will I have contact from a professional?

In addition to treatment sessions or specific appointments with other healthcare professionals in the team, there can also be daily check ins with Peter.

Do you help with detox?

We can offer professional advice with regards to detox and support during the detox process. We will also work in collaboration with doctors, psychiatrists and any other professionals involved in your care as needed.

What is the well-being service?

We know that nothing happens in isolation. Often when working with addiction or psychological distress, there is more than one thing impacting on the well-being of an individual. We try to cover all of the bases and offer support with every area of your life that you feel you need it.
